SUPERKLENE 550

SUPERKLENE 550 is a powdered, general-purpose starch, specially formulated to give a good combination of stiffness and filling to table linen and white coats. It is a combination starch, based on a balanced blend of maize and wheat starch compounds. Borax and other inorganic additives are included to improve durability and finish.

SUPERKLENE 550 should be added to the last rinse of the process at low dip level, to ensure maximum absorption of starch onto the fabric. The actual quantities required will depend on the degree of stiffness desired but as a guide, 700 grams of SUPERKLENE 550 per 45 kg, dry weight of work will provide a good feel and handle to the linen.
