CHEMTREAT 271A

CHEMTREAT 271A is a silicone-based antifoam solution formulated to prevent foam in cooling water systems and wastewater plants. Safe for use in food processing industries requiring food-grade antifoam, it provides efficient foam prevention, low toxicity, and convenient application in liquid form.

CHEMTREAT 271A is normally maintained at a concentration between 50 ppm and 500 ppm in the recirculating water. BCI sales Engineer will recommend the concentration necessary for the particular operating conditions. CHEMTREAT 271A may be diluted with water if desired and applied by means of a pump. More usually, it is applied intermittently and may be added to the cooling pond or process without dilution.
